CHINESE | VISA

My Visa came in yesterday! EEK! So excited! I will officially be in China March 16-30! Can't wait. Bring it on China.

In exactly 1 MONTH I will be en route to CHINA! Hopefully there by nightfall and not delayed somewhere (: I'm beyond excited. I will be there with my mom for 2 weeks. Lots of things to see...lots of pictures to be taken.

Oh, Saint Valentine

I am not an overly sentimental person as far as Valentine's Day goes, but I do enjoy a thoughtful gift (what girl honestly doesn't like flowers?)...

So here is a Happy Valentine's Day from me! Hope yours is spent with those closest to you!

Oh...and I would LOVE to be in Paris today...maybe someday I will spend the most romantic day of the year in the most romantic city in the world. Fingers tightly crossed. Sigh...

Stripes + New Shoes

I have been trying to be more creative with my outfits recently and pair things together that I normally wouldn't. This outfit centers around this skirt from GAP that I have had for probably 4+ years but have never been satisfied with anything else in my closet enough to wear it. My sister gave me this dress that is really more of a long shirt on me that I threw over it with a belt (unconventional for me) and I LOVED it. Also, new shoes...everyone loves that!

Crystal Bridges

This past December I had a couple friends come visit from Chicago and we went to the museum. I've been twice now and would very much like to go back again and spend more time becoming more "cultured."

 

 

 The image below is my favorite piece in the entire museum.

The temporary exhibits (photographed below) were a light exhibit and work from Moshe Safdie (the architect for Crystal Bridges). I LOVED looking at Safdie's work from the video about him working with Alice Walton to the models he built for various projects. I could have stayed in there forever.
