Here are 5 things you may or may not know about me...
I have a degree in Interior Design from the University of Arkansas! Woo Pig Sooie! I graduated in 2009 and work for an architecture firm off the square in Bentonville. I have been there 3 years this past March. Times flies!
I am quite obsessive. Actually, INCREDIBLY obsessive. When I find a new interest I wear it out. I went to see Les Mis when it came out, got the soundtrack and listened to it on repeat for weeks. I saw it two more times in theater...BAWLED...and listened to the soundtrack innumerable times more. That's just one example. I obsessed over the Twilight Saga, I obsessed over the Hunger Games, I obsessed over painting intricate designs on my fingernails for awhile. Those are just a few of my obsessive phases.
Fashion Blogs. Don't get me started. I LOVE THEM. I just started reading fashion blogs last fall and now I read so many that I have a hard time keeping up with them all. That's how I found Jimmy Choos and Tennis Shoes. Some of my favorites are JC&TS [obviously], Ashley Treece, Signeroo, Kendi Everyday, Tulip Louise and Selective Potential. Also, I would LOVE to be a fashion blogger! It's not my time yet ;)
My little sister is getting married in less than 2 months!!! She gets married on June 1st and I couldn't be more excited to her! The approaching date brings not only great joy but her departure from the United States as well. My sister met a man from Saudi Arabia at the University of Arkansas and after they wed, she will pack her stuff and move with him to Saudi. Although I know we will miss her greatly, I don't think a greater man exists in the world for her. I know he will take the absolute best care of my little sister for her whole life.
And my sister's wedding brings me to my final topic...graphic design. If i could quit my job today and start a business, it would be a graphic design/photography business (with a fashion blog on the side). I wish I had taken some classes when I was in school because I have loved designing invitations and other various things recently. I took some engagement pictures, designed their Save the Date and designed the invitation to her wedding shower with matching address labels! Her colors are hot pink and yellow and we are having a mustache themed shower [she was on the mustache train before they became popular]. You can see them below!
