Several exciting things have happened since my last post and i will expound on them at a later date, but in order they are as follows:
I wanted to share a little bit of my crafting on my blog. I found an adorable garter on Etsy several months ago. My Friend Nicole thought that we could create one instead of paying someone else to do it. She is very good at organizing and pulling lots of things together, for showers, weddings, etc. She really should open a party/wedding planning business (: Her husband's cousin Lauren is getting married this summer, June 2nd. So we decided back in August to attempt to make this garter as a gift for her and then if it didn't work out we had plenty of time to find another one. So we decided on incorporating "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed and Something Blue" into this hand-crafted garter [it was an idea we got from etsy as well].

American Idol
So i have never posted anything about American Idol in the past...but i am actually following this season and have a few favorites!
My #1 pick is Phillip Phillips. He has a great gravely voice and he can play the guitar and is very quirky when he performs. I love watching, listening and looking at him. Below is his most recent performance - "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder...

I crafted a tiny bit tonight...introducing my new glitzy key! I love glitter so why not add it to my things (thanks Pinterest). It's as easy as 1...2...3...
Step 1: Apply Mod Podge
Step 2: Sprinkle on glitter while Mod Podge is still wet
Step 3: After Mod Podge has dried, seal Glitter with Clear Fingernail polish
DON'T FORGET TO DO BOTH SIDES! Here is my end result! I'm in love! Bring on the Glitzy Keys!

Brandon's sister had the idea for this painting for his 21st birthday. His Grandpa made a table and painted the flowers and family crest on it. I love this one (:
On Friday night, i went with my Dad and brother to the final home meet of the season for the Arkansas Gymbacks. It was Senior Night for 3 of the ladies as well. I wish i had been more involved this season with the team because MAN are they fun to watch! The event was incredible, Arkansas beat Minnesota and the seniors got to go out with a bang. Jaime Pisani is currently ranked number 1 in the nation

Even as last minute as this decision has been, it makes me incredibly EXCITED! I am going with my sister to Snowmass, Colorado in 3 weeks for another Snowboarding Spring Break woohoo! I absolutely cannot wait! I just hope i have retained some of the skills that i learned during my inaugural trip last year :)
