I was able to go to a corn maze with a group of friends for the first time ever on November 03! It was a really great time. My community group planned it so we had a pretty big group. I didn't follow all the rules, I guess you could say. I went straight zombie style through severals rows of corn that were not the beaten path. It was fun. I'm excited to do it again next year!
last image ℅ Mary Beth…love her [all other photos taken by the iPhone of yours truly] Also…I totally loved my outfit. I might have blended a bit too well (:
Yesterday my family had to say goodbye to a family pet. We got Carmelo in the summer of 2009 from the Rogers Humane Society and he was a great dog. Gigantic, loving and goofy...he had a great disposition. He was my little brother's dog. It was really hard saying goodbye yesterday but we will always remember the good and funny memories we have of him. Miss you buddy.

Farewell is like the end
But in my heart is a memory
And there you'll always be"
Weekends like this are refreshing. Being busy during the week and barely sleeping can really wear a person out. On Saturday I got up and went to Neighborhood Market with my dad which is something I haven't done since I was a child. It was fun and kind of hilarious...I think I won't be invited again because his bill and cart ended up being filled with more stuff than intended (but I know he really enjoyed my superb company). I've been trying to build up my strength/balance so I can do headstands. I worked on that on Saturday too. See the video below (to JM "Shadow Days")...
After headstanding, I went outside to get my longboard on. I'm learning this summer so I'm still not great but I am doing a lot better. The weather on Saturday was great too...nice and coolish. I had a lot of fun.
Watched Rocky with Daddy-o on Saturday night and church was great this morning. I'm excited for the week! JOHN MAYER'S NEW CD COMES OUT ON TUESDAY! Guess what I'm buying on the way to work that day...?
I've also been creating images (photos taken by yours truly at Crested Butte and Garden of the Gods) with John Mayer lyrics for the release of Paradise Valley...I'm a wee bit excited.
I went to Thunder on the Mountain with my friend Mary Beth, her mom Barbara and her mom's friend Denise at the beginning of June. It was so much fun! I'm not into country music and it was a country music festival...I definitely went for the camping but plan on going next year with them again. What can I say...tastes change. Luke Bryan's new cd came out yesterday (he performed at Thunder) and listening to his new single "Crash My Party" has me reminiscing... here are some photos from Instagram that I never posted...
I read all the books as they came out and own all the movies. I went in costume to the finale when it came out at midnight in theaters. I own a timeturner. I'm a big fan. I was thinking about Potter yesterday and decided I need to read the books again. It really is a wonderful series. I did a little Pinteresting for Harry Potter tattoos and love the one below of the Deathly Hallows.
Before Katherine Anne married Badr on 06.01.2013, we had a photoshoot since she was moving to Saudi Arabia. My mom found some local photographers [Hatch and Maas Collective] through a Facebook friend of hers. We scheduled a shoot and had so much fun with them! Matt and Aaron and super professional and really easy to work with. We had a really good time and I would personally recommend them to anyone! You can see our pictures below!
